On January 24th, Apple computer will introduce Macintosh. And you'll see why 1984 won't be like "1984".
Since 1984, the success of Apple has given designers the opportunity to design to their full potential with this innovative graphical user interface. Before the development of Apple, users were only able to communicate through the means of text, until the first Macintosh came along. The first Macintosh, the Macintosh 128k, was released on January 24, 1984 and has been a major success in the industry ever since.
From text to graphics, the innovation of this interface has allowed the design world today to express what they can do to the best of their abilities. Macintosh has allowed users to design and print with text and graphics. Initially, desktop publishing was only made for the Macintosh, but then eventually was made for the PC as well. Everything about this machine was user friendly; from easy access, to the well thought out interface, making it everyone’s dream computer. If it weren’t for the invention of the Macintosh, then the world would only be designing images out of text.
